Are you really making money?

Many sellers find out too late

The payout looks healthy, so the business must be too. Then every fee, refund, ad, storage charge and unit cost is set against each sale, and a channel or a product turns out to have been losing money for months.

  • Channel profit for each marketplace: net from the marketplace, cost of goods sold, your own costs, profit and margin
  • Each listing's price beside what it costs you and Amazon's fees
  • Cost of goods from your real landed costs, not a guess

The pains of selling online

The usual problems, answered

Each one is a real headache for marketplace sellers. Here's what Bookalyze does about it.

  • The pain: The payout isn't your sales: fees, refunds, ads, reserves and tax are netted out of it.

What Bookalyze does: Each settlement or month is posted as one entry, split into sales, fees, refunds, ads, tax and amounts held back.

    See how
  • The pain: Deposits get counted as income on top of the sales, so income is counted twice.

What Bookalyze does: Each payout is matched to its bank deposit and moved to the clearing account, so sales count once.

    See how
  • The pain: No idea what a unit really cost once freight and duties are in.

What Bookalyze does: Landed cost on each delivery, stock lots costed first in first out, cost of goods sold posted every month.

    See how
  • The pain: A channel that looks profitable loses money after ads and storage.

What Bookalyze does: Channel profit for each marketplace, down to cost of goods and your own costs counted against it.

    See how
  • The pain: Products that sell every day and lose money once their ads are paid, and an ACOS that can't tell you which.

What Bookalyze does: Ad spend per product from Amazon Ads, set against each product's fees and landed cost: profit after ads, break-even ACOS, and the losing products first.

    See how
  • The pain: FBA, FBN or WFS stock that doesn't match the books, and lost units never noticed.

What Bookalyze does: Stock movements from the marketplaces' own ledgers: returns back into stock, losses written off, stock compared.

    See how
  • The pain: Several marketplaces, currencies and companies kept in spreadsheets.

What Bookalyze does: Every company, currency and marketplace in one login, each with its own books.

    See how
  • The pain: Running out of stock, or ordering far too much.

What Bookalyze does: Reorder shows the day each product runs out, the day to order by, and how many.

    See how
  • The pain: Buyers asking for VAT invoices, one email at a time.

What Bookalyze does: A bilingual Arabic and English invoice from the order in seconds, sent to the buyer through Amazon.

    See how
  • The pain: Too few reviews, because nobody has time to ask every buyer.

What Bookalyze does: Amazon's own Request a Review, sent automatically at the right time after delivery.

    See how
  • The pain: Bank lines typed or copied by hand.

What Bookalyze does: Wise syncs every day, any other bank comes in by statement, and rules categorise the routine.

How it works

Connect once. Then it runs itself.

Every day, Bookalyze collects each marketplace's sales, fees and payouts, posts them to your books, finds each payout in your bank, and works out what you made.

Amazon, Walmart, Noon and eBay send their money to Bookalyze, which posts it to your books, matches it to your bank deposits and works out your profit.

Marketplaces

Amazon, Walmart, Noon and eBay, each one fully connected

Where we work

Made for the countries where these marketplaces are

Where Amazon meets Walmart, and where Amazon meets Noon: each country's marketplaces, currency and tax.

Everything in one place

And everything else your business runs on

Accounting, banking and stock in the same place as your sales, so the numbers agree.

Proper bookkeeping

Double-entry books behind a simple Transactions screen, receipts on every line, and profit and loss, balance sheet and sales tax reports.

Banks that reconcile

Wise syncs on its own; any other bank by statement upload. Rules sort the routine, and transfers between your own accounts are matched.

Stock and cost of goods

Purchase orders with freight and duties, stock costed first-in first-out, cost of goods sold every month, and when to reorder each product.

Profit after ads

Every product's profit after fees, landed cost and its own Amazon ads, with its break-even ACOS. The ones losing money first.

Reviews and listings

Amazon's own review requests sent at the right time, in bulk or automatically, and an email when a listing you watch changes.

Company paperwork

Each company's profile, documents and filing dates in one place, with email reminders before anything is due.

More than one business?

Every company, one login

A corporation in Canada, a trading licence in Dubai, a side business: switch between them in a click. Each keeps its own books, currency, tax, financial year, team and connections.

  • Any country, any currency, any financial year
  • Invite your accountant to one company only
  • Turn on just the parts each business needs
  • Moving from Wave? Bring your history and receipts

Safe by design

Your books stay yours

Kept apart

Each company's data is separated by the database itself, so one company can never see another's.

Keys encrypted

Marketplace and bank access keys are encrypted before they're saved, and never shown again.

Every change recorded

Invite people with the role they need, and see who changed what, and when.

Questions

Frequently asked

What does it cost?
Plans start at $9 a month per company; see Pricing. Your first company gets 30 days free with every feature included. We take a card when you sign up and charge it on day 31; cancel any time before then and nothing is charged.
Which marketplaces can I connect?
Amazon (North America, Europe, the Middle East and the Far East), Walmart (the US, Canada and Mexico), Noon (the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt) and eBay (US, Canada, UK, Australia, Germany, France, Italy and Spain).
Do I still need a separate bookkeeping app?
No. Bookalyze is full double-entry accounting: chart of accounts, bank reconciliation, receipts, sales tax and financial reports. If you use Wave, you can bring your history with you.
Can I run several companies in different countries?
Yes, that's what it's built for. Each company has its own currency, tax settings, financial year, team and connections, and you switch between them in a click.
Are the review requests allowed by Amazon?
Yes. Bookalyze sends Amazon's own Request a Review, once per order, inside Amazon's window. It writes no custom emails to buyers.
Is my data safe?
Each company's data is kept apart by the database itself, access keys are encrypted before they're saved, and every change is recorded. We ask marketplaces for read-only access wherever they offer it.
